Feldenkrais is a somatic learning method that practises self-reflection through movement. The participants explore basic movement patterns in unfamiliar configurations to observe and unravel patterns of movement, thought, emotion and action. The method encourages playfulness and curiosity - has a non-goal approach - not expecting any result or arriving at a specific point by the end of the lesson. Nothing is to be done well - nothing can be measured in terms of good or bad. Taking care of oneself and patience are some of the core principles for practising to accept one’s current level of ability and practising softness towards oneself.
